We finally have some video to show you from our summer recording session of Inuksuit with Doug Perkins. What a fun couple of days!
Those 30 percussionists were all so easy to work with. It was kind of crazy how calm everything was considering the number of musicians and the scope of the project. I suppose that attests to the nature of Doug and Dave. Doug is very clever and able to forsee issues--also this wasn't his first time at the wilderness rodeo. And Dave is a pretty calm guy in general. Which makes me think I should set up some tests here in the office to see what it would take to throw him in a tizzy. Feel free to email me with ideas.
